The brush insert is so designed that its construction has an inner & outer brush, performing a good wiping action & ensuring a good contact. The Telescopic Brush comes complete with a terminal insulating cap for added protection. Secondly the outer and inner brush are designed to have different natural frequencies in order to ensure this good contact in the presence of vibration, because only one brush at a time can be in resonance, resulting in a prolonged brush life.
